Puzzle Parley 2020 Registration

To register for all or part of the 2020 Puzzle Parley, please fill out this form. More information on all events can be found at Puzzle Parley 2020 .

This registration does not include your hotel stay. You must make your own hotel reservation with the Sturbridge Host Hotel & Conference Center, 508-347-7393 . We have reserved a block of rooms at a special rate of $119 per room plus tax. This rate applies from Tuesday, July 21 through Tuesday, July 28 if you are planning an extended vacation in the area. When you make your reservation, use the promo code 2007PUZZLE to receive our discount. While we have reserved a large number of rooms, you should register as soon as possible. The special rate expires June 30th but the hotel may fill up before then. NOTE: The best way to make your reservation and get the special rate is to call the hotel for booking. If you book online you may need other information. You can email us with any questions.

Each person must register separately. The form below provides information to help us to better facilitate the event. This information is used soley for those purposes and will not be shared. After completing the form, you will receive an automatically generated email and continue to payment options.

Refund Policy: For cancellations on or before June 1st, we will refund 95% of your payment. From June 2nd to July 10th, we will refund 75% of your payment. There is no refund after July 10th although we will try to accommodate emergencies if possible.

Our puzzle event is unique and only occurs every two years. We encourage all puzzlers and puzzle makers to attend. We have an educational grant program that all may apply for. Click here for more information or to apply.

* Weekend Registration Options:
Full Weekend. Includes all events from Friday Night through Sunday and all meals: Friday Dinner, Saturday Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, and Sunday Breakfast. ($185 by May 20, 2020 , and $210 afterwards)
Saturday Day and Evening. Includes all events from 8:30 AM to 10 PM on Saturday, with two meals, Lunch and Evening Banquet. ($80 by May 20, 2020 , and $90 afterwards)
Saturday Daytime. This includes events from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with one meal, Lunch. It does not include any evening events or the Saturday Banquet. ($35 by May 20, 2020 , and $40 afterwards)

Additional Items for the Weekend Event:

Reserve Table Space for Displays or Sales. Limited table space, approximately 6ft x 2ft, is available on a first-come first-serve basis. ($10 )

Show and Tell. Please indicate if you will be bringing something for Show and Tell. Participants can spend a couple of minutes sharing something special, unusual, newly acquired, from their collection. Puzzle cutters may also talk about a puzzle they have created.

Raffle donation. We welcome donations of puzzles, items with jigsaw puzzle themes (e.g. clothing or jewelry). The proceeds will go to supporting future parleys and the Armstrong Educational Grant program. A raffle coordinator will contact you later about your specific item.

The 2020 Pagey Elliott Jigsaw Puzzle Exchange. Puzzle cutters who wish to participate in this Friday evening Exchange need to fill out a separate registration form by April 30, 2020. Everyone is welcome to attend the Exchange, where cutters discuss their creative process. For more information and to register for the Exchange, click here.

Friday Daytime Activities:

Attendance for both Friday's daytime activities is limited. They are initially open to those registering for the Full Weekend or Saturdary Day and Evening. Those who are registering for Saturday Daytime and select an activity will be placed on a wait list and will be notified towards the event if a slot becomes available. They will not be charged until they have a confirmed slot.

Tour of the nearby American Antiquarian Society's Jigsaw Puzzle Collection Friday morning from 9:45 - 12:00. Note: It is roughly 45 minutes from the hotel to the Society. ($5.00 per person limited to 50 people first come first serve).

Puzzle Cutting Workshops. We will have a day-long series of workshops on puzzle cutting on Friday from 9AM to 4PM. They will range from beginner level, "cut your first puzzle", to intermediate level where new cutters can learn new techniques or styles, to expert level dealing with creative cutting techniques, multiple solution puzzles, etc. Each level workshop will be offered during the three time slots below. Since each person will be cutting a small puzzle, attendance is limited by the number of saws we will have available for each session. This is a unique opportunity for hands-on instruction by our volunteer expert cutters. Click here for more information on the specific choices available.

Saturday Evening Activities:

Puzzle Assembly Contest.The Artifact Puzzle Contest will take place after dinner on Saturday. Deadline for registration for this event is May 20, 2020. Each team will have three people. You may specify one or two others for your team. Otherwise, in June we will match you with other(s) to form a 3-person team. Click here for more information.
